SEO SPECIALIST

Jonie Tamayo Santos

What’s your story?

I help businesses get found—because even the best website won’t do much if no one can see it. As a Search Specialist, I focus on making sure brands show up where they should, right when people are searching for them. That means optimizing content, fine-tuning keywords, and keeping up with the ever-changing world of SEO.

My job is the perfect mix of creativity and strategy. There’s an art to writing content that connects with real people while also making search engines happy. For me, it’s about more than just rankings—it’s about making sure the right audience finds the right business at the right time. When that happens, everyone wins.

What do you love most about what you do?

Helping businesses tell their stories and actually reach the people who need them. It’s very rewarding to see a brand’s online presence grow, knowing I played a role in that success.

What makes Muletown Digital awesome?

The people. Muletown Digital isn’t just another agency—it’s a team that genuinely cares about its clients and their success.

What’s your biggest personal achievement?

Building a freelance career from the ground up while constantly learning and growing. That journey led me here to Muletown Digital, where I get to work on bigger projects, collaborate with a great team, and keep pushing my skills forward.

What surprises people about you?

I didn’t start out in SEO—I taught myself everything I know through hands-on experience and a whole lot of independent study. What started as curiosity turned into a full-time career.

What’s a personal goal you’d like to accomplish?

Traveling the world—exploring new places, trying new foods, and experiencing different cultures. But my biggest goal is giving my daughter a bright future and supporting her in achieving her dreams.

What would you teach, if you were a teacher?

The importance of paying attention to details—because the small things often make the biggest difference, (in SEO and in life)!

What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever received?

“Focus on progress, not perfection.” It’s easy to overthink and get stuck trying to make everything flawless, but real growth happens when you just keep moving forward.

If You Had a Theme Song, What Would It Be?

“Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor. It’s all about persistence, confidence, and pushing forward—a great mindset for both work and life.
