DIGITAL MARKETING DIRECTOR
Sean Lizamore
What’s your story?
I like to think of digital marketing as a constantly shifting puzzle. Every campaign, every strategy presents a new challenge—and I love figuring out the solution. For me, the most satisfying part isn’t just solving the puzzle in front of me, but anticipating and thinking ahead about the next one (and the next, and the next).
As Muletown Digital’s Director of Digital Marketing, I help clients navigate the wild, wild world of SEO, PPC, and digital strategy. My goal is simple: to demystify digital marketing and empower our clients to not only succeed but truly understand how it all works. (Spoiler: It’s not as complicated as you think).

What do you love most about what you do?
I love helping businesses grow and carve out their individual spaces online. My brain is wired for breaking down complex concepts into clear strategy—and seeing those strategies work for our clients is icing on the cake. What makes Muletown Digital awesome?
The people. Our team is down-to-earth and collaborative in a way that’s rare. Everyone is passionate about what they do, and it shows in the work we deliver. What’s your biggest personal achievement?
Helping my wife grow her photography business to the point where she could leave her day job and pursue it full-time. She’s amazing at what she does, and being a key part of her success has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.
What about professional wins?
I’ve had the chance to work in-house with some amazing companies, helping them land big accounts and grow like crazy through smart digital marketing. It’s been incredible to see how the right strategy can make a huge impact on the bigger picture.
What surprises people about you?
I used to be super shy. I’m still often the quiet one in the room (i.e. the lively convos at Muletown), but now I really enjoy meeting and connecting with new people.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I’ve always loved writing, so the dream has always been to become a published author. I’m one of those people who has a mostly-done novel on the backburner and a few other manuscripts in progress—I’d love to see my name in print someday.
What’s in your work bag right now?
Lots of cables. Chargers, headphones, adapters—you name it. It’s like a Best Buy in there. Oh, and at least four pens for some reason.
What’s the best professional advice you’ve ever received?
Don’t be afraid to fail. Failing is just learning in action – so if you learn from your failures, you’ll never actually… fail.
